Game Build released!
Hello Friends
After a brief period of rest (and minor adjustments), the Singularity team have released our Gold level build - version 2.7.
The project took 11 weeks all up, from conception to post-submission edits. This was our first time working together - and for the majority of the team, our first time meeting - but we were incredibly fortunate to be a cohesive group of hard workers.
We had our stresses - unsurprisingly trying to create your own physics-based character controller with layered shaders and detachable heads in under 10 weeks (with minimal prior knowledge) is a challenge. As Producer, I have been continually amazed by the work ethic, positive attitudes and problem solving of our group, with all members contributing in new and exciting ways every day.
We're proud of what we've created, and how it came together. We look forward to adjusting, refining and adding more levels, modes and features when we get the chance.
For now, the team are focusing on our next projects (and final year of study), but absolutely welcome any feedback or ideas that come to mind as you play our game.
Some features that didn't make it in, but may in future:
- Weapons (eg. mallet, axe, bomb)
- Multiple level arenas
- Game Modes (eg. team up, battle royale...)
- Online multiplayer
- Different power ups... including some spicy ones. o__o;;
- And some more secrets...
Hopefully, you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
